Paros island -UPDATED- Absolut-Greece.Com
Welcome to my pages about Paros. I have been to Paros almost every
summer for the last 20 years, And its like a curse. Even if I make plans
to not visit Paros for sure its the island where I get stuck. Sometimes
because of bad weather, Sometimes no reason at all, I just find myself
passing the windmill at the port thinking what the f..k, I'm here again.
Anyway, I love Paros and I will be back as soon as I can
Its
easy to get to Paros. The port of Paroikia is the most frequent port in
Greece after Pireus
Paros is to me a complete island, Here you can find The busy Paroikia
aswell as small quiet villages like Marpissa or Marmara. You can easily
reach the nearby lovely island Anti-Paros, Boats run all day, From
morning until late |

Krios beach, Not far away from Paroikia. There is a boat than runs all
day from Paroikia port to to this beach. Price about 3 Euro/return
ticket. I stayed nearly 3 weeks in Paroikia this summer (07) and went to
this beach almost every day, I know there is better beaches to find but
this is close to town and I'm very lazy. Its a camping here

It can be a real chaos when boats arrive at Paros port, And it can be a
mess to get trough the flock of people that offering rooms. Most of
these rooms are alright, But ask them to show the location on a map so
you know if the room is central or far away |
