| Almost every postcard from Greece is
from Santorini, and I can imagine why but not how. The island seems to
always be crowded with people, and how the f... take photos without
other photographs in the background??? Maybe in the off season. Anyway
Santorini is picturesque and well worth to visit but whatever you do
stay away from this island at high season. The last time I was here, we
stayed in kamari on the southside. It was a bad idea, Kamari is (to me)
a boring place build for mass tourism and the only point as I can see is
the short distance to the airport, but of course a lot of people love
kamari and come back every year so maybe I missed something

| Perissa is a better
choice if you like to stay close to a beach, It was a nice place the
last time I was there, but it gets bigger for every year and new hotel
pops up all the time |
